Pizza is a savoury dish of Italian origin, consisting of a usually round, flattened base of leavened wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese, and various other ingredients.
Pissaladière is a dish which originated from Nice in Southern France. The dough is usually a bread dough thicker than that of the classic pizza Margherita, and the traditional topping consists of caramelised onions and toppings of choice.
On a personal note, I like Pizza but often find the cheese a little too much, if not a little greasy whereas, for the Pissaladiere, instead of cheese I use a caramelised onion and tomato base which to me tastes a lot fresher.
